Question: How do we stay positive in a world so full of negativity?

You get to choose where your focus lies. You have the freedom to focus on the higher vibrations of love and appreciation or to engage in the lower vibrations of fear and despair.  

When we focus on things like the deliciousness of our morning coffee, the exquisiteness of the flowers blooming on our windowsill, and the delights of our lover’s touch, we create the positive vibrations of love and gratitude. 

Picture these vibrations as concentric circles of light coming from your heart, creating energy waves, moving out into the world around you. Quantum physics has now verified what the mystics have known for thousands of years; everything in this universe is a vibration, including your thoughts. 

Your True Self, your Heart Self, is freely expressed as you focus on all the beauty, friendships, and love that your life displays right now. The circle of energy that radiates from you becomes stronger. As you increase your feelings of love and appreciation, your vibrations intensify. Over time, you will begin living a life that is not influenced by the lower vibrations, also known as negativity. 

You may think, “Aren’t I selfish to concentrate on my happiness when the world is in such chaos?”  

Your higher vibrations consume lower vibrations, so as you continue to focus your energies on love, you increase the energy of love in the universe.  As you train yourself to appreciate all the little things in your life, the universe responds by giving you more and more to be thankful for in the world.  

Let your love flow indiscriminately. It will transform the world, like water soaking into dry soil.
